Surrealist
Games
Surrealists use a variety of word and graphical 'games' for the purposes, as a friend of mine once described it, 'of expanding of an unseen singularity into a horizon and beyond'. Many of these techniques make use of automatism to generate phrases and images that act as the basis of further Surrealistic interpretation and creation, in a sense making known what was previously 'not knowable'. Of the Surrealist games, Exquisite Cadaver is probably the most well known and widely practiced.
