Whenever I see a picture of a tooth, I see the part that you
chew with, and I see a spiky-looking part that supposedly
sticks in your gums. (in cartoon pictures, these are
sometimes the legs of the tooth-character.)I want to know,
what is that spiky part called, what is it there for, and
most of all, WHERE DOES IT GO WHEN YOU LOSE YOUR TOOTH???
Your answer will be greatly appreciated. My own dentist
can't even tell me this!
