A textbook from which I am teaching claims that Downs Syndrome is
the result of non-disjunction and that this occurs the father
in 25% of cases. Is this correct? If so, how does the incidence
of Downs Syndrome increase with the age of the mother if meiosis
in females occurs very early in life?
