You need to realize that the seedless fruit like grapes that we all love are a product of very intensive horticultural management practices. Irrigation, fertilization and reproduction are controlled by the grower.

Since there are no seeds to use when more plants are needed the grower uses a different strategy. When shoots are young and have farily soft stems cuttings about 3 to 4 inches long are removed from the stoot. The ends are dipped into a rooting hormone, typically a mixture of IBA and talc, and are put into a professional horticultural soil mix and kept moist and warm in a greenhouse. After a period of time, depends on the species of plant, roots form and the grower has a new plant.

It is through this type of propagation, highly mananged, that enables the seedless plant to continue reproduce.
