Why do the oboe and clarinet resonate differentlyt?
Our physics textbook states that the oboe resonates as an
open pipe because it has a conical bore while the clarinet
acts like a closed pipe due to its cylindrical bore. Why does
the difference in the bore make one a closed pipe and the other
an open pipe?
