David,
Your face can wrinkle for a variety of reasons.
- Your muscles degrade over time and weaken, the ones that are weak result in the wrinkles in your face.
- You can over use certain facial muscles, sometimes due to the way you sleep, and they can weaken ooner than other muslces leading to wrinkles.
- Time, using gravity as its tool, can continually pull your muscles downward leading to stress and over use resulting in wrinkles.
- One of the worst causes is smoking. http://kidshealth.org/kid/games/SmokingWrinkles.html
- Exposure to the sun can be another culprit.
A simple search on face wrinkles yielded many hits which should lead to you a lot of valuable information.
-Jeff
