What does different kinds of bacterial growth look like? I am taking samples from around the house using clean QTips wiped over 7 different places. I am then lightly wiping them on fresh blood auger dishes in specific designs. When the bacteria grows, I expect different bacteria might look different. Does anyone know what characteristics different bacteria have when grown this way in a warm environment? I started out just wanting to know which places had more bacteria. Now I want to know which bacteria are which. Do you have any other suggestions?
