I am just wondering what returns comets back to make another lap of the sun, do they just get fed up with being cold and say let's shed a few pounds and go sun bathing and return. 2000 years is a long time. Does it depend on mass and speed? The probes sent out that are now exiting our solar system at what point will they come back if at all or will we have to collect them or wait for some other life form pick them up and return our junk? If anybody can respond I would be very grateful
