Sound Waves
Is it possible, because of diffraction of waves, to stand close
enough to a wall to not hear a sound?  I am talking about a very
large opening in the wall with the sound being of a very long
wavelength.
Short lines below represent barrier, long lines represent approaching
sound waves.  And yes, I know that sound waves aren't planar, but I
can't quite draw spherical waves on a flat screen...
