Since minerals must come from the soil to get into the plants we eat we are constantly replanting crops each year without replenishing the soil's minerals - is a potato, for exaamole, grown today as nutritious as a potato grown 200 years ago? We read more and more about these issues that Americans are not getting the nutrition they require, not because of their diet, but because the food products themselve grown from the earth are rapidly losing their nutritional values.
