What is the only rock that is made up of only one mineral?

Tracy:

You've been grossly misinformed. In other words, there is not "only [one]
rock that is made up of only one mineral" rather there are at least a
dozen that come to mind. Some examples are marble (calcite), limestone
(calcite), dolostone (dolomite), rock salt (halite) and gyprock (gypsum).
Now these don't have to be absolutely pure but it is not unusual for them
to be 99+% composed of one mineral.

If you could provide more information as to what you want to know about,
I'd be happy to help.
