Please look at my question again more carefully. This is NOT just a
general weather question. I have spent the last half hour searching
the site you recommended with no luck at finding my answer. Please
reconsider submitting my question to an expert. Thank you.
> Why do high pressure areas in the atmosphere rotate clockwise and low pressure areas rotate counterclockwise? I thought the Coriolis
"force" / effect caused counterclockwise rotation north of the
equator. Thanks!
