In the specific immune response, certain cells are able to remember
the antigen. The range of memory for those cells vary from 2 to
20 years. In the case of the baby boomers who were immunized for
many things thirty years ago, can we be sure we still have immunity?
Should we all be re-immunized for polio, smallpox etc?
