Can anyone tell me the exact difference, chemically and
histologically, between blood serum and blood plasma, and what
important implications might arise from that difference? I'm dimly
aware that plasma contains some things that serum doesn't. (I'm
interested in this not as a blood donor but as a layperson who reads
technical biological and medical literature.)
