I was hiking today and left my banana peal in the dirt. My friend
picked up the peal and told me that I should not leave it. I said
that it was biodegradeable and that it was okay. I have been under
the impression that this was okay and have been doing this my whole
life. Is it okay to leave a banana peal in the dirt while hiking? Or
is it trash that I should bring home and put in my garbage can at
home? Thanks, Brian
