I'm interested in knowing if the funnel cloud itself is responsible
for generating an electrical charge. I'm familiar (lightly) with
electricity/lightning in a thunderstorm, and I've searched the web (a
number of sites) but I just can't find anything to answer this
question (I did discover that a tornado generates a great deal of
energy, but the manifestation of this energy was not described. . .)
Thank you in advance,
Derek
