I am doing research on the advantages of using heavy tungsten as a
shield for gamma rays. I would like to know if it is better to use
tungsten or lead. Expensiveness, strength, weight, and the ability
to fabricate this shield out of lead or tungsten are all important
qualities to affect my decision. This shield will be used in a gamma
detector for a mammography unit. Please let me know your thoughts
and ideas.

Thank you.
