Recently, my son asked me if I could help him build a working radar set. My
specialty is Chemistry and Materials Science. I am not an electronics genius. I
do know that historically, radar has been highly classified and has not had a
presence at our local science fairs. I also know that the FCC, FAA and the
military would probably be upset if you were to build a set with any power. Is
there a radar demonstration experiment I can put together that will teach him
something and not land me in trouble with the federal government.
