Some people (mostly Asians) exhibit allergic reactions to alcohol.  
The symptoms I've seen are turning red (usually in the face but all 
over body as well), increased pulse, and becoming warm/hot.  I've 
heard that this is an allergic reaction due to some protein 
deficiency.  Is this true?  If so can you give me more specific 
informations?  If not true, then what is the cause?
