Hello Carolyn,

    I was not able to find any information regarding the use of HGH
(Human Growth Hormone) stimulating cartilage regrowth. I contacted 
serveral investigators and they thought the idea to be intriguing, but
was not able to put me in touch with any articles regarding the use of
HGH in this regard. I also was not able to find the article you referred
to in the Associated press. However, I did find an article titled
"Cartilage Replacement Surgery" which I think will be of interest to you.
