Message:
If I have a thin membrane streched over one end of a hollow cylinder
(like a drum) and seal the other end, what formula describes the shape
of the membrane when I draw part of the air out of the cylinder? I am
hoping that I can assume that the membrane is semi-elastic and that
it's mass is negligible. Thanks
