What damage is done to human lungs if the person is on a plane where there is a
fire? We saw a video "The Mysterious Flight of Flight 201" in which the victims
were autopsied and found not to have experienced breathing in smoke before the
actual crashing of the plane. I am a teacher, and we are trying to put together
a mock plane crash investigation. One of the labs we want to do is have the
kids do a lab that imitates a physician doing the test to figure out if the
victim had been in a fire previous to death. I want their reading information
to be scientifically accurate even if the test is actually fake (we will be
using pickled ginger to represent lung tissue). Thanks
