Epinephrine is unique in that it stimulates both Alpha and Beta receptors 
dependent on dosage. From a purely clinical practical point of view it 
will increase heart rate and blood pressure. The other drugs mentioned 
will block both types of receptor and again depending on dosage tend to 
nullify the effects of epinephrine. In clinical practice these 3 drugs 
would almost never be used at the same time. R.K. McGregor M.D.
