Dear Tara I belief that air temperature has only very little effect on a projectile's "impact or distance". Cold air has a slightly bigger density compared with warmer air and that will slightly increase friction. Relative air humidity, within the gun or condensating on the projectile's surface when it is in the air, is also affected by the temperature and will indirectly influence the projectile weakly. I estimate these effects well below 1 percent.
