Dear Tracey:

There are lots of questions in this one!

1. Noone has (yet) genetically engineered a human baby.

2. I suppose that one could engineer in the genes that fish have that live
in extreme cold, that stop them freezing. But these work in the context of
the whole metabolism of the fish, which is very different from human
beings.

3. The best, most effective, most economical and least controversial way of
doing it is to wrap the baby up in nice warm clothing!
