Yesterday I saw a docu about vutures on Dutch television. The strange thing about vultures from the "new" and the "old" world is that they look the same, but they are no (close) relatives. The African vulture originates from the stork, while the American vulture originates from the eagle (am I right?) So my question is, how is it possible that they evolve seperated from each other to the same shape.
