Hello Kathy,
No only Anopheles sp. can transmit malaria and only about 60 of these
are
vectors under natural conditions. However, like many other blood-borne
diseases, malaria can also be transmitted by blood transfusion,
contaminated needles and from mother to child before and/or during
birth.
