Yes, smoking can stunt your growth. The effect is more severe during the early stages of growth, however, while still in the mother's womb. Mothers that smoke during their pregnancies have lower birth-weight babies than women that don't smoke. After birth, especially in America today, where everyone is over- nourished, the effect is pretty small because the bones are so well supplied with their building blocks in the form of food.
