I have an old watch(1920) which I have had restored. I am
concerned that the radioactive hands are dangerous. I checked
your FAQs and found Bob Novak's answer to the question
"What makes the hands glow?" posted Nov 8, 1998, ID#90920742.PH
It didn't address safety issues associated with wearing the
watch. Also, if it is a hazard to wear the watch, where can I
safely dispose of the hands?
