Hello ,

I've had a look around and there are a number of websites dealing with groundhogs, but I'm afraid I can't find any info. on their fur. However, I did find a site devoted to marmots (these include groundhogs) where you can ask any questions you like so I suggest you take this one to them as they're the experts! They are the INTERNATIONAL MARMOT NETWORK at
http:/ /cons-dev.univ-lyon1.fr/MARMOTTE/MARMOT.EN/marmotnetwork.html
You can ask your question via Post A Message "All you ever wanted to know about marmots that you never dared to ask for" at Forum Marmotarum URL:
http://cons- dev.univ-lyon1.fr/MARMOTTE/FORUM/forum.html

Here are a few other links which may be of help for general information:
About the Ground Hog
http://www.octonet.com/cbne/ logs/aboutgh.html
The Marmot Burrow
http:// falcon.cc.ukans.edu/~marmota/marmotburrow.html

Cheers,

Hes
