Subject: Is the transfer of embryo's between different species possible?

Is it possible to transfer the fertilized embryo of one species 
to the uterus of a completely different species for maturation?  
For example the embryo of a household cat to the uterus of say a 
cow.  Will it mature to term?  Thank you  for your help.  My e-
