Subject: Should the electromagnetic fields make (eremosphaera) algae cells grow/not?

What should be the effect of electromagnetic fileds on algae cells?    I need an 
answer so I'll know if the results that I am getting for my science fair project 
are right. The purpose of the project is to determine if and how electromagnetic 
fields affect the number and appearance of algae cells at incresingly higher 
levels.  Well that's all....thank you very much for you time, and considering
