I know the text books that I have read all say that the loss of 
internal heat is "due to volcanic activity" but how?  How is it 
"due to volcanic activity"?  I have been thinking about this for 
forever and none of my teachers have been able to give me a 
straight answer.  Can you help me?  PLEASE??
