I am doing some research on the Aurora Borealis for a school project. I understand that there is an 11-year peak cycle in solar activity and why this creates an increase in Aurora Borealis activity, but what I'm trying to find out is what is it that affects the sun to increase the solar or sun-spot activity? If you could answer this, I would be grateful. Or if you know where else I might inquire? Thank you for your time. Niki Hurrle ( dennishur@iquest.net )
