Re: Why do all scientists have ologist at the end of their name?

Scientists have "ologist" at the ends for very good etymological reasons: 
scientific disciplines were originally named in Greek or Latin. The Greek 
"logos" means "word" or "description," while "-logia" was used in Medieval 
Latin as a suffix to denote "study of."
