I am a 9th-grade student who, for her science class, needs to
propose a science project (in other words, do everything short
of actually performing the experiment oneself).

As part of my science project, does where an apple is grown
affect the amount of carotene in that apple, I will need to test
for the carotene in the apples. Therefore, is there a chemical
that will react with carotene in such a way to indicate its
presence? Thank you for your attention

Sincerely,
Ryan Holman
