Message:

The soil on Mars is said to be red/brown because it contains iron
oxide (rust), so could it be safe to say that there might have
once been large amounts of iron on Mars' surface? Also, if there
was iron on Mars, wouldn't it have had to have rained for it to
rust? Thanks for helping!
