I have many chamelions that live around my house, but one in 
particular runs around every so often puffing out a red 'sack' 
under its throat. It is bright green when doing this so the 
contrast to the red is quite something. It runs around like 
crazy for a couple of days then disappears for a while.

Any idea what this behavior is(mating ritual) I am presuming 
this is a male? Purpose of the red sack? Coloration?
