I'm sorry if we're just dispensing the "same old stuff" too. The
problem with truth is it's often less romantic than fiction.
The Bermuda Triangle is an area in the Atlantic Ocean between Florida and Bermuda which is alleged to swallow ships and airplanes mysteriously. The myth is mostly bunkum and hype, and the author of the link I've given below speculates that it's a tale concocted to scare gullible landlubbers.
