Yes, mercury will freeze in liquid nitrogen.

To figure if mercury will freeze in liquid nitrogen you have to examine the
melting temperature of mercury (chemical symbol 'Hg') and the boiling point
of liquid nitrogen (chemical symbol 'N').  If the melting temperature of
mercury is higher than the boiling temperature of liquid nitrogen then
mercury will freeze.

Melting temperature of mercury is -38.8C
Boiling temperature of liquid nitrogen is -209.9C

Therfore as the melting temperature of mercury is higher than the boiling
point of liquid nitrogen the mercury will freeze!
