Birds have no penises, and I'm pretty sure fish don't. The 
penis, then, is a rather recent (in the grand scheme of things) 
evolutionary adaptation. What advantages does a penis give us 
over, say, the way birds reproduce? Can you provide any links to 
sites on this subject?
