Hello

I hope my choice of Neuroscience was correct, Anyway, About 10
Years ago I were involved in a minor car accident, During the
time from braking(Skid), to impact, time (Or my perception of it)
"DID" stop, for a second everything around me & my perception of
it STOPPED, 1 Second seemed like 5 seconds.

Why was this?

Did my brain freeze so I couldnt worry about what was happening?
Did my brain slow down the event so I had MORE time to act?
Did my brain turn my body off so I could more easily go with the
impact?

I dont know why this happened, I ONLY KNOW IT DID.

I hope you are able to shed some light on this for me.

Many thanks

Rob
