Donavon,
        The quick answer to your question is "no". Unlike you and I, 
fish do not have emotions.  They can not "get mad" or be "happy".  A 
fish's brain can only tell him simple things like "I'm hungry.", "There's 
something bigger than me over there." or "That looks like something to 
eat."   The reason the bass hits the lure is because (to the bass) it looks 
enough like the little fish that bass usually eat. 
 
If you have been fishing for bass, you probably already know that they 
sometimes "throw" the lure.  What happened is that the bass got a chance 
to taste the lure, and when it did not taste like the fish he would 
normally eat, he spits it out.  A fisherman also knows that the trick here 
is to get the hook set, before the bass spits the lure out.  Hope that
