Do solar cells in space convert Xrays, microwaves, etc. to power, or do
they only convert the more mundane forms of solar radiation to electricity?
If they don't convert other wavelengths to electricity, why don't we use
something that does on our spacecraft? It seems that these other
wavelengths would be a lot more energetic, giving us more juice per unit of
surface area.
