Dear User,

I am not an expert on sterilization, however here are my 2 cents:

1) 70% ethanol will cause less "glassification" of the contaminant 
particles and will be more likely to penetrate deeper, resulting in better
quality of treatment.

2) 70% ethanol is better on human skin.

3) 70% ethanol is somewhat cheaper to make and to maintain -- 100% ethanol
is extremely hygroscopic.
