Birds flying in synchronisation has been a topic of interest to many for 
years. Actually, this synchonisation is usually followed in migratory 
birds. Well, the best that I know about and can tell you is that, it is 
mainly believed to be an inherent property within birds, something that is 
learnt like how they learn to fly.
