Actually, very little of the bubblegum is digestible.  As you chew 
bubblegum, the sugars in it are released and are absorbed within an hour or 
two.  If you swallow the gum, most of it passes through the intestine 
without being absorbed and it excreted in the feces.  A small part of the 
gum may be digested and absorbed within the first 24-36 hours after you 
swallow it.
