MadSci Network: Science History |
Part of this question falls under chemistry. According to the extensive online researching I've done, I've found only that his discovery was nearly accidental and that he collected chlorine gas and discovered its bleaching properties. BUT, what I would like to know is HOW he originally collected it, and what exactly were the results of his studies? The actual topic I'm working on is "The history of discovery of Chlorine gas", and any additional information that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.
