I have asked my teacher repeatedly, but she is the kind of teacher who 
only has these big long answers for everything.  I was kind of hoping that 
maybe a scientist would be able to explain things a little bit simpler for 
me.  I would really appreciate an answer.  Thank you for your time and 
help.
