Well, one wouldn't be too sure. I guess, the only way you can know is by 
watching them closely while they are flying.
The fact is that, I don't know of any bird that has clean toilet habits. 
They just answer nature's calls anywhere and everywhere, even on the top of 
your head! It happened to me once. If you might have noticed bird cages, 
you would hardly find a specific spot for toileteries.
So I guess, that's about all I can tell you. I don't expect Canadian geese 
to be an exception to the rule either.
